CEIBS provides email services for Alumni. You can set it up on Outlook for desktop devices.

 

Important Notes:

The only desktop version of Outlook that supports CEIBS email accounts is classic Outlook. Please purchase the license on your own, then download and install the software.
 
The New Outlook included with Windows does not support CEIBS Alumni email accounts.

 

Set up CEIBS Alumni Email

  1. Open the classic Outlook on Windows.

    • Add a new account in classic Outlook. (Please go to Step 2, enter your CEIBS Alumni email address)

    • Set up another email account in classic Outlook.

      1. Click File in the top-left corner.
      2. Go to Info, Select Add Account.


  2. Enter your CEIBS Alumni email address, then select and click Advanced options > Let me set up my account manually > Connect.


  3. Select IMAP. 


  4.  Enter the server information:
    1. Enter Incoming mail Server: alumniimap.ceibs.edu;
    2. Enter Port993;
    3. Select Encryption method: SSL/TLS;
    4. Uncheck Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA);
    5. Enter Outgoing mail Server: alumnismtp.ceibs.edu;
    6. Enter Port465;
    7. Select Encryption method: SSL/TLS;
    8. Uncheck Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA);
    9. Select Next.


  5. Enter your password and select Connect.


  6. If you receive the Internet Security Warning twice, asking Do you want to continue using this server? Select Yes both times.


  7. Account successfully added. Uncheck Set up Outlook Mobile on my phone, too, then click Done.


  8. Setup complete.
