This guide will help you use CEIBS ChatGPT successfully, which involves installing the Microsoft Authenticator and setting up two-factor authentication.

 

Download and Install Microsoft Authenticator

Two-factor verification is an effective way to protect your account from being stolen, and Microsoft Authenticator is a straightforward way to implement two-step verification. You may install Microsoft Authenticator from the Google Play Store directly. Or you may install it by scanning the QR code as below. 

Note: The QR code above links to the Microsoft Authenticator installation package stored in CEIBS SharePoint. You need to log in with your CEIBS account to download it.

 

Setting up two-factor authentication

  1. Access this site https://myaccount.microsoft.com/ in a computer browser and sign in with your CEIBS account and password.


  2. Select Security info in the left menu. Then, select Add sign-in method in the Security info pane. 
    Select Microsoft Authenticator from the list. 


  3. Select Set up a different authenticator app.  


  4. Select Next in the Set up your account in the app window.


  5. The window for scanning the QR code appears. Please open Microsoft Authenticator on your mobile phone. 

     
  6. On your mobile phone, open Microsoft Authenticator and tap Add Account -> Work or school account -> Scan QR code, then scan the QR code from the previous step. 


  7. After you have bound your account in the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile phone, tap the account to view a 6-digit one-time password code, which changes every 30 seconds.


  8. In your computer browser, enter the 6-digit one-time password code from the Microsoft Authenticator app, then click Next.


  9. A new sign-in method via the authenticator app has been added to your security info. Then, two‑factor authentication has been successfully set up.

 

Use CEIBS ChatGPT

When accessing CEIBS ChatGPT (https://ceibs-chatgpt-playground.azurewebsites.net/) in a computer browser, after verifying your CEIBS account and password, you need to enter the code from the Microsoft Authenticator. The process is as follows:  

  1. Sign in with your CEIBS account on the Microsoft sign-in page. After successful sign-in, you will be prompted to enter the code from the Microsoft Authenticator app.


  2. Tap the account in Microsoft Authenticator to obtain the one-time password code.


  3. Enter the one-time password code displayed in the authenticator app on your mobile phone into your computer browser.


  4. Successfully opened the CEIBS ChatGPT page.
