This guide helps visitors connect to the CEIBS-WiFi6 wireless network on campus.
Applicable for the Android platform
- Go to Settings > WLAN, choose CEIBS-WiFi6.
- In the pop-up window,
- Keep PEAP for the EAP method option,
- MSCHAPv2 for the Phase 2 authentication option,
- select Do not validate for the CA certificate option,
- Enter your CEIBS account in the Identity field,
- Leave the Anonymous Identity field blank,
- Enter your password,
- Keep all other settings as default,
- Tap Connect.
- Setup complete.
Note:
It is recommended that everyone switch to the CEIBS-WiFi6 network. If you have previously connected to the CEIBS-A network, please remove the CEIBS-A connection to enjoy the new Wi-Fi 6 experience.
The steps to remove the CEIBS-A wireless connection are as follows:
- Go to Settings > WLAN, in the Saved Networks, tap the rightmost arrow next to CEIBS-A (or long-press on CEIBS-A) to bring up the network details window.
- In the pop-up network details window, tap Forget network.
- Setup complete.
