CEIBS has purchased license of McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.5 software for students. It is suggested that students install this software to protect their computers. Students can also continue to use Norton Anti-Virus or TrendMicro if it isn't expired and can be updated regularly. However, all other anti-virus software must be replaced with the software recommended by the IT Support Team.

Please be sure to update security patches, fixes and virus definition timely and regularly for both the operating systems and applications, such as Anti-virus software, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, and etc.

You can find the latest virus definition file sdatxxxx.exe for McAfee VirusScan from \\ceibs.edu\mbafiles\mcafee. IT will keep this folder update and you can just double click the exe file and press Next, it will automatically update your McAfee VirusScan.
